Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square South

Clean, comfortable room/hotel in an excellent location. We usually stay in 4-5 star places but needed a cheaper room for this trip - I was a little hesitant initially that it might be a bit dingy or whatnot but my expectations were definitely exceeded and I would 100% stay here again! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

This was my daughter and myself first ever Mother Daughter trip. I couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay at than the Hilton. Everything was beautiful! Had a great view of the city and close to everything! Most of all, Tim at the Front desk was AMAZING!! He made my daughter's night the first night we stayed in NY. He went completely over and beyond for myself and my daughter. Especially after finding out this was her birthday trip. I would definitely book again with the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square South!

The location is excellent and it was easy to reach the different parts of the city either on foot or by subway. It was particularly useful to use to be within walking distance of Penn station (we could wheel our suitcases along to there without problem). The room was on the small side but it was satisfactory and all I would expect of New York in this price range. The bed was OK and we slept well enough. It was relatively quiet considering the location and we used the fan to drown everything out.

We chose this hotel based on location and price while attending the US Open. We arrived early in the morning by car, were able to register, store our luggage, and park our car literally feet away from the hotel. The staff are very attentive and quick. We returned late in the evening, received our room key and our stored luggage and were given a room on a higher floor like requested facing the street - and a residential building. No noise heard from the street - amazing for New York. Our room was small, but still ok for NY standards.. the only thing was that the bathroom door touched the double bed, but otherwise ok. There is complementary coffee in the lobby and a few snacks you can purchase. Checkout was quick, we left our luggage again with the front desk. Car was easy to retrieve, staff at the garage were good and no issues with the car. Would stay here again.

The room was clean, and the bathroom was big. Nice and clean lobby. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Also, the doors lock in the front after a certain time for the safety of the guests, so very good. Cable TV with goods channels to watch. The fridge and the microwave were a plus in the room.
