Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square South

It suited our needs perfectly. We needed a comfortable, clean room midtown. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Received text when we got there for basically a personal assistant to our stay. We were able to leave bags prior to and after our stay while we explored the city. Close to Penn station.

Room was typically NYC size (aka cramped) but complete and well insulated from above/below so pretty quiet. Bathroom was exceptional - shower, sink, hairdryer, good lighting. Bed was comfortable but filled the floorspace so we ended up using the bed for sitting. Staff was great. Place was pretty clean and modern. I was surprised there was a mini-fridge and microwave in the desk space. Desk and lighting in room was pretty good. Fourteenth floor was pretty good for avoiding street noise. Elevators all worked all the time and were fast. We had no problem getting a taxi or Uber to the front door. Penn station is in walking distance so our trip to Long Island was convenient.

I really liked this hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Always greeted me as I entered and left hotel. Room was a very nice size and the bathroom was spacious for NYC. Bed was comfortable. In-room frig, coffee maker. Supplied bottle water and a few snacks. Nice restaurant and bar in lobby. Little snack and gift area was nice. Location close to Penn Station, MSG, and not too far from theater area. Easy subway access.

The front desk staff were absolutely fantastic! They were super helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We had a birthday trip for my sister, and we arrived early, but the rooms weren’t ready yet. Brenda was so kind and helped us store our luggage. She even learned about my sister’s birthday! When we checked in, my sister found a beautiful surprise on her bed - rose petals, animal-shaped towels, a lovely birthday card, chocolate, and nuts! It was like a dream come true! The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of eggs and hot dishes. And the bed was incredibly comfortable! We travel a lot, and honestly, we haven’t seen a bathroom as clean as this one. It felt like we were the first people to use the shower in that room. The location couldn’t be better either. During our check-out, the assistant GM was in the lobby, greeting everyone warmly. This hotel truly has amazing people!
